Need a partner as you build your courses in Ultra? Do you need some dedicated time, or simply like to work alongside colleagues? If so, join our Ultra Build-a-Thon!

We will have Blackboard support and instructional designers present to help you along. At this in-person event, we will utilize a work-sprint model where we share demonstrations and then allow time for hands-on building.

To make the most of this event, please bring a completed course map as well as artifacts (such as videos and documents) to place within your course. You can find excellent course map resources at the online Course Map Guide and/or utilize our internal Course Map Worksheet. Please email eLearning-design@ualr.edu if you would like to utilize our lab for creating an intro or lecture video.

During this event, you will:

• Choose a structure for your course, copy materials, and add Ultra documents
• Build assignments and assessments
• Build discussions, announcements, and conversations
• Configure your gradebook

If you are unable to attend for the entire day but would like to attend part of the day, please note that in your registration.
